What does the term "adjustment fee" mean?

The adjustment fee is charged only if you renew the CDL after expiry date. This is the fee to adjust your license expiry date to follow your next birth date. For example: 

License type: D
Birth date: 2.1.1986
CDL expiry date: 2.1.2024
Renewal date: 8.1.2024

Calculation: 
8.1.2024 - 2.1.2025 = RM30 / yearly 
2.1.2025 - 2.1.2026 = RM30 / yearly
New CDL expiry date: 2.1.2026 
CDL Renewal Fee to pay: RM60 

Adjustment Fee, it is used by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and is also found on MyEG receipts for adjustment charge.
