My driving licence expired 3 years ago. What should I do?
Your driving licence is no longer valid if it has expired for more than 3 years. Therefore, you cannot renew it.
You will need to retake the driving test to obtain a new driving licence.
Firstly, you are required to go to the nearby Road Transport Department (JPJ) office. They will issue an eAppeal letter for you to obtain an "L" probationary driving licence before retaking the practical driving test.
You will be granted a 2-year probationary licence (P Licence) before obtaining the full licence.
