Employee Salary Deduction for Zakat via MyEG


1. Introduction

This user manual is prepared to guide users in accessing and using the Salary Deduction service for Zakat Contribution through the MyEG platform under Islamic Services.

To ensure uninterrupted access to the service, all users are required to:

 - Create a MyEG account

- Link their existing company list from the previous eServices platform (if applicable)

Completing these steps will ensure continued access to the Employee Salary Deduction for Zakat service.


2. System Requirements

·        Internet connection

·        Access to the MyEG website

·        Valid MyEG user account


3. Accessing the Zakat Salary Deduction Service

Follow the steps below to access the service:

1.     Visit the MyEG website.

2.     From the main menu, select Services & Products.

3.     Click on ISLAMIC icon or scroll to ISLAMIC-Islamic Services

4.     Click on Employee Salary Deduction for Zakat to proceed.

4. Creating a MyEG Account

If you do not have a MyEG account, you must register before accessing the service.

Please refer to the MyEG Help Centre article How to register for an account on the MyEG website"
for step-by-step registration instructions.


5. Linking Companies from a Previous eServices Account

Users who previously utilised the Zakat Salary Deduction service via the former eServices platform may link their existing companies to their MyEG account.

Steps to Load Existing Companies:

1.     Log in to your MyEG account.

2.     Upon successful login, you will be directed to the Company Selection page.

3.     Click on “Load your companies list from there.”

4.     Enter your previous eServices username and password.

o  If you have forgotten your password, click “Reset your password” and follow the on-screen instructions.

5.     The system will retrieve and display your previously registered companies.

6.     Select the relevant company.

7.     Click Proceed to complete the linking process.

Once completed, your existing companies will be successfully linked to your MyEG account.


6. Registering a New Company

If your company does not appear in the retrieved list, you are required to register it as a new company.

Steps to Register a New Company:

1.     Click Register Company.

2.     Enter the required company information accurately.

3.     Submit the registration request.

Once the registration is approved, you may select the company and proceed with the Zakat Salary Deduction service.


7. Important Notes

·        Ensure that company details are accurate during registration to avoid processing delays.

·        Linking existing companies helps maintain continuity of service and records.
