How can I delete my MyEG account ?

To delete your MyEG account, you typically need to follow a specific procedure. Here are the general steps you might need to take:

1. Submit a Request via the Feedback Form 
    Send an email to our customer support team using the feedback form
2.Select “Account Deletion” Subject 
   Select 'Account Deletion' from the subject dropdown menu. 
3. Include the Necessary Information: 
    To verify your identity and process your request, please include the following details in your message: 
    • Your full name 
    • MyKad number 
    • The email address associated with your account 
    • Your username (if applicable) 
    • A brief reason for requesting account deletion (optional) 
4. Submit Your Request: 
    After including the necessary information, submit your request by clicking the “Submit” button. 
5. Wait for Confirmation: 
    Our customer support team will review your request and verify your identity. Once the verification is complete, you will receive a confirmation email regarding the deletion of your account. Please allow up to 3 business days for the processing of your request. 
6. Follow-Up (if needed): 
    If you do not receive a confirmation email within the specified time frame or if you have any additional questions, please follow up with our customer support team at help@myeg.com.my
7. You cannot delete your account if you have active transaction pending delivery or other actions. 
8. Once you request account deletion, we will refund all monies in your prepaid wallet to your previous payment method, and cancel all pending transactions you have not paid for. 
9. To ensure compliance with the law and Bank Negara Malaysia requirements, we will keep all your transactions and accounting records for at least 7 years after deleting your account. It will take up to 5 working days for us to review and process your request for account deletion.
